I completed one week of work experience in Stephens Cooke and Associates. My duties included opening the post and running errands for the senior receptionist as required and also greeting clients and preparing rooms for meetings.

Position Held: Librarian Assistant

I completed 4 weeks of work experience in Castlepollard Library. I developed interpersonal and communication skills and I also learned a substantial amount about the role of a librarian. I gained experience dealing with the public. I also opened the post in the mornings and distributed same. I organised the books in the library and ensured they were always maintained in alphabetical order.

2017: Mullingar Pharmacy

Position Held: I completed 4 weeks of work experience in Mullingar Pharmacy. I assisted with stock control. I placed new stock out on the shelves. I put promotional stickers on sale items. I participated in stock takes of products across the various different departments in store. I also assisted customers with any enquiries they had about any of the products in store.

Achievements

I have received an award for attendance and an award for Work Ethic during my years in secondary school. I performed in a play called ‘Looking Forward To The Past’ during Transition Year and as a result of performing in this play our school came second place in the All Ireland Playwright Competition. I have a manual handling certificate and I have also completed a range of courses including Children’s First on HSE land.
