Human Resource and Farm Administrator with experience in a dynamic vegetable farm setting in North County Dublin. I recently obtained a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from UCD Smurfit Business School, achieving a 2.1 overall grade and securing my CIPD accreditation. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Human Resource & Farm Administrator (2015 – Present)
Brookridge Farm | Rush, Co. Dublin
- Extensive knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws. Advising farm managers on HR issues, such as ensuring the farm has the correct number of staff for busy and slow periods and communicating changes to employment law to farm managers.
- Planning and Managing staff recruitment by devising job descriptions and posting job adverts. Oversee the scheduling and running of interviews of candidates.
- Assisted with the sourcing of staff accommodation.
- Responsible for onboarding recruits, introducing and training new employees and coordinating with the team mentor to ensure a smooth settling-in period. Also, help set up bank accounts for people new to the country.
- Further training and development, such as forklift training certificates, heavy lifting courses and putting forward good candidates for career progression, such as lorry and tractor drivers.
Costa Coffee (2018 – 2019)
• Provided customers with Costa standards regarding coffee, the processes carried were Milk steaming, coffee extraction and coffee latte art.
• In charge of taking in deliveries and ensuring that it corresponds with the delivery docket
• Other responsibilities included interacting with the public by taking orders, handling cash and change, and ensuring orders were complete.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
• I like to cook, regularly trying to recreate meals seen on Tiktok or Instagram.
