January 2020- April 2020
Primary Games Officer| Limerick GAA
As part of my college degree, I went on placement to Limerick GAA to be a Development Officer for the primary schools in Limerick. My role as an officer required me to plan sessions before arriving to schools and be able to communicate with young children and provide them a chance to get involved in GAA in their community. Due to Covid-19 my placement was unfortunately cut short but during my short time working here, my communication and leadership skills improved immensely.
June 2019 – March 2020
Shop Floor Staff | Dunnes Stores Jetland.
Whilst working in Dunnes, my role required me to ensure my designated aisle was kept in a tidy manner and to restock after each shift. I also had the opportunity to improve my customer service qualities because I had to deal with a lot of customers queries and help them around the store. I was also trusted by management to stock, lock up, and secure the Off-License after opening hours.
Bar back | House Limerick.
My time in House required me to ensure the floors of the nightclub were kept clean and dry to prevent any potential accidents. I was also tasked with restocking of the bar and waste disposal at the end of a shift. this helped me to understand how to work under pressure and to work in a larger team environment.
